Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary Care

Our domiciliary care service is a flexible care service provided to you in your own home and can be changed at any time.

Our friendly care team can support your needs and requirements from as little as ½ hour per visit for medication prompts, 1 hour for personal care or meal preparation, up to 3 x 8 hour visits over the course of the whole day allowing both flexibility in care and costs.

Domiciliary care can include all personal care, medication management, continence care, meal preparation, bathing and washing, respite and night care.

Choosing the level of care and support you require can be difficult, particularly after a recent change in circumstances or hospital discharge. Domiciliary care can accommodate all the initial support that you require, be reviewed over the following weeks and changes implemented accordingly. You remain in control of your care at all times.

Your preferred care plan will take account of your daily routines, the time at which you like to wake in the morning, the times that you prefer to eat, medication management, continence care and the time at which you like to go back to bed at night.

Caring Direct aim to ensure that the people who use services are involved in the care that they receive, and that the right to make or influence decisions is respected at all times.

Care staff will arrive for duty on time, presentable and suitably matched to the tasks for which they have been selected. Domiciliary care calls are expected to last for the full duration as detailed in the care plan and start and finish times are recorded at each visit.

All care staff are carefully selected and DBS checked prior to employment.

The ongoing success of Caring Direct relies on our extensive training and development programme, regular supervision and an amazing team of compassionate domiciliary care staff giving you peace of mind at all times.

There is no minimum period of which you are required to agree to and no fixed contract. All that is required is that should you need to cancel an agreed call you give 24 hour notice.

Contact our trained professionals to discuss your needs and requirements and we can arrange to visit at a time convenient to you.

Domiciliary care is an extremely affordable option, allows you to remain in your own home retaining your dignity and respect, and may cost less than you think.
