A valuable service should you require an escort or companionship during any period of hospital discharge or scheduled care visit.

Particularly beneficial to service users that like to leave their home occasionally, venture further afield whilst having the comfort of a trained care worker present throughout.

Maybe you would like to enjoy a trip out of the house to meet family and friends. Keep appointments or simply attend the social club you've been attending for so long but haven’t been able to get to for a while.
Use of a vehicle is available inclusive of driver subject to 4 hour minimum charge, mileage fees and area availability.

Caring Direct vehicles are subject to the service user having some mobility and being able to transfer. This service is also applicable only to Caring Direct service users with a current agreed care plan.

Where the service user has minimal mobility or cannot transfer, Caring Direct recommend community transport services that provide appropriate hoisting equipment. In some areas Caring Direct will reimburse membership fees, paid to community transport services, to service users.
