Respite Care

All care services provided by Caring Direct are for no fixed term. This really is a beneficial means of purchasing a service to assist you in the short term only.

Respite Care is particularly beneficial to family members spending more and more time caring for a loved one. Respite Care is designed to give family members a break for short periods whilst ensuring their loved one still receives a high standard of care. It also enables the family member to spend more quality time with their loved one, to relieve them from the stress of managing medication and to allow them to keep other family commitments or take annual holidays.

Caring Direct offer all Respite care services on a basis that they may only be for what is referred to as a recovery period and therefore not permanent.

Respite care can be provided from as little as half hour daily or maybe just one or two afternoons per week.
