Caring Direct provides a meal preparation service that most service users find invaluable.

Meal preparation is often incorporated into your plan of care and visits arranged to suit the times that you would like to eat.

During short visits, pre-prepared microwavable meals can be cooked and served to you while you wait, or if you prefer freshly prepared meals, longer visits can be arranged to accommodate longer cooking times.

In all circumstances your preferences, nutritional needs and dietary requirements will be taken into account. Care staff can assist you in eating meals and will clear away after your meal.

In the event that service users are not able to get to the shops to purchase food items, care staff will collect your shopping list and deliver straight to your fridge or freezer for later use via a dedicated visit.

All care staff are trained in safe food hygiene.
