The Next Step …

What Happens Next

We try to keep this as simple as we can.

Firstly, contact the Caring Direct team to arrange an informal visit in your home to discuss how we can help.

You will be appointed a Key Worker, overseen by the Care Manager/Deputy, who will endeavour to complete a risk assessment of your care needs. There will be no awkward questions and relatives or family friends are invited to attend if required.

A care plan will be discussed and detailed to provide the best care solution possible. You will be encouraged to make your own choices regarding the level of support you require.  Any requests that you have will be noted at this time and incorporated in the care plan as necessary.

A medical form will be completed providing us with valuable information with regard to your health and medication requirements.

Your care may then start at any time or date convenient to you. You remain in control at all times and there is no fixed contract. All charges to be incurred will be made aware to you by this time. There will be no hidden charges thereafter.

Care Workers will arrive for duty at the agreed times, presentable, with I.D.  and suitably matched to the tasks for which they have been selected. Domiciliary care calls are expected to last for the full duration as detailed in the care plan. Start and finish times are recorded at each visit.

All Care Staff are carefully selected and DBS checked prior to employment. The success of Caring Direct relies on our on-going training, supervision and development of all our staff, providing you peace of mind at all times.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any further questions on 01376 333657.
